Heidi is a 4-5 yr old Dachshund mix. She is Spayed and UTD on all vaccinations. She had heartworms but went through treatment like a champ and no longer has them. She is standard doxie size and about 22 lbs. This sweet girl loves to play and gets along with all dogs and people. She is great with bigger children. She barks at cats but has never tried to harm one. Heidi is very affectionate and loves to have her belly rubbed and snuggle in the bed with you. She is housetrained and crate trained.

Heidi is a typical Dachshund and has a high prey drive. With that being said, she should not be around any animals smaller than her such as puppies, kittens, hamsters, etc.

Please consider making Heidi part of your family. You will not be disappointed.

Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate (for each dog) if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.   Transportation Help  If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
