Carma and Inky were surrendered when their owner could no longer care for them.  Carma has a beautiful red smooth coat with soulful brown eyes and Inky is a “gorgeous” long-haired black and tan dapple standard.

Carma has had several litters of puppies in her short 5 years, the last just this past summer. She will soon be spayed and all of that will be behind her. She still has a little baby weight but she’ll be back to her pre-pregnancy weight in no time.

Carma is a cuddlebug. She loves when her foster mom holds her and lets her give her a smooch or two. When she gets bored she enjoys a good game of “chase” around the kitchen island with Inky. Carma can be a little vocal and is usually the first to bark if she  thinks  she hears something. That just means she’s a good security system.

Inky likes following his foster mom around. When she stops, he stops and snoozes for a minute or two. When she moves to her next task, Inky follows, stops and snoozes.  You get the picture – He likes being close to his humans. 

They both have good house manners and have mastered potty training outside. One of their favorite activities is going outside for walks on leash but they both would love to run free in their very own fenced yard.  

During the day, they are rarely in their crate unless their foster family is out doing an errand.  Carma does not  like the crate at all except at night when she sleeps in a big crate quietly until morning (and breakfast!).

Carma and Inky have spent nearly their entire life together and they are searching for a forever home together. Do you have room in your heart and home for two sweet doxies?

Adoption Fee:  $450.00 for the pair + $40.00/dog for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135/dog fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
