***Oscar will not be available for adoption in New England at this time due to the quarantine requirements***

“Sweet” is the first thing that comes to mind when describing Oscar.  This mellow boy is a total love. He loves to snuggle and give kisses, and he loves playing with his toys. Oscar was a bit neglected in his old life, and would dearly love someone who appreciates his gentle nature and desire to please. Oscar gets along very well with his two foster brothers, and while he was at the vet’s office overnight he spent his time grooming the office cat ;).  Oscar is currently heartworm positive, but has been treated and will be ready to go to his new home in just a few weeks.

Adoption Fee:  $250.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses. This fee is non refundable if dog is returned. Fill out an adoption application http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724 TRANSPORTATION HELP! If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
