Hello, my name is Daisy Mae! A proper young southern belle. I was left at a shelter (I don’t know why and I was confused) and then these nice people came to the shelter, took me with them, and now I’m with my foster parents and my foster sister and brother! I LOVE everyone and am super friendly. I do have a lot of energy, and my older foster sister sometimes reminds me to give her space (I am 1yr and 4months so I am still figuring this whole world out), but I run around the house like crazy with my foster brother who is 2 years old. I need a fair amount of exercise so anyone looking to adopt me should love long walks and enrichment toys to keep me occupied. I love other dogs and am generally submissive, but can be a little rough in my play so I need some guidance and supervision. I sleep through the night but when I wake up, it’s the best day every day and I am ready to GO! I am learning to be calm for treats. I have excellent potty track record! My foster parents are so impressed. I even used a pee pad one time when I had to go before I went out! I am such a good girl, looking for someone to play with me, love and cuddle with me, and keep me safe as part of their family.
For additional information please contact my foster mom Kathleen (katmgregory@yahoo.com)

Adoption Fee: $275.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
Transportation Help
If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
