Rocco here, have no fear. No one will be sneaking up on you anymore. I will be sure to let you know if anyone is coming to the door. And please be sure to let them in because that is one more lap i get to sit on which is my favorite thing in the world.
I love to be with people all the time. I really lucked out in the foster mom department because she brings me to work every day which makes me really happy. I would love to live with a family that has someone home a lot. I think i would be a real good best friend for a child too. I’m not sure what that is but i’m told i would be good. I love attention and i don’t eat toys.
I enjoy going for walks as long as the weather is nice and riding in the car is a lot of fun too. I play a little fetch but prefer to just hang out with you or close by so i can keep an eye on you. Mom says i’m a velcro dog whatever that means. She always kisses me so it must be a good thing. I’ll watch tv with you snug under a blanket next to you or on your lap, which ever you prefer.
The dogs in the house are okay but i don’t pay much attention to them. One of them is very nosey and i don’t like him in my business. I keep telling him but he doesn’t care. Mom said something about a post but i didn’t hear the whole thing. There is a cat that lives outside and she’s cool too. I don’t chase her because she is bigger that me.
I eat well and try new things. Cooked orange sticks are yummy. I had some little green balls in my dinner once that weren’t too bad either. And treats, oh boy do i love treats. I prefer the soft ones but mommy makes me eat the hard ones more so my teeth stay clean.
I hope you learned a lot about me and would like to meet me soon.
If you want to know more about me please contact my foster mom Blair at 17campshortstreet@gmail.com

Adoption Fee: $275.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
Transportation Help
If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
