Meet Roxie, she is a feisty girl, with so much moxie and enthusiasm for life it’s contagious!  She would love her own special person!  Roxie gets along well with other dogs, but she is a strong minded woman!  She is good with cats, even chickens are in her current environment and she has accepted they are part of the family.

She has not had the easiest life.   She is a young dog, that spent her first years in a home, that allowed her no limits.  And when they did not like what they created they put a shock collar on her.  She was confused and completely lacked trust in humans.   She will need continued work to trust new people.

She has made great strides.  If you are looking for a long term companion who will never leave your side, who will always strive to protect you, and will love you LIKE CRAZY; well, look no further.  Roxie has a huge heart! She is truly so devoted. She loves sleeping in the big bed snuggled next to her special human!  She loves long walks, and all play times!

Seeking a forever home within 4 hours of her foster home in NWA - Arkansas.  Unless an adopter is willing to drive further.  But I can only commit to driving 2 hours. She will need someone who can be a leader and willing to lovingly draw healthy limits for her, and love her amazing big heart!

Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional non-refundable $145 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.    Transportation Help If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
