I am LadyBug!. I love my people; and I want to spend every minute with them.  I am a real lap sitter, and will curl up and cuddle with you.  I really don’t like being put down on the floor, my spot is with you!  I get along with other dogs, but I’m not all that interested in them.  I’m totally focused on my human.  I am a barker, and I will guard my new home from all intruders, including those pesky garbage collectors and mailmen!  I am happiest when I am with you and I will definitely whine and cry when you leave me.  I’m also a bit of a climber and acrobat so I need you to make sure I can’t climb on the kitchen counters.  I would be a great companion for a retired person or couple, who want to take me everywhere with them.  I am not food aggressive at all, and I do enjoy my meals and a cookie or two.  I’m very fond of plain Cheerios.  I am a very loving little girl who just wants someone that I can spend all my time with.
Completing an Adoption Application:   http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724 Adoption Fee:  $250.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional non-refundable $145 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.    Transportation Help If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
