I’m Honey.  I am a senior lady with an incredibly soft coat. I love people especially ones that give me cuddles and let me snooze in the sunshine. I like to be stroked down my back and I love belly rubs.  I like being around other dogs, but sometimes I can be a “diva” around other dogs so I need to be reminded to have good manners.  As I am a senior, I’m housetrained, but I need to be taken out often.  At night my foster mom puts me in a crate with a pee pad and a nice soft bed and I don’t mess! I don’t know how I am with children, but my foster thinks that if they are calm and respectful of me being little and older, then I should be okay.  I can go up and down steps, stairs and the ramp to the yard with no problem, but at my own speed.  I even have learned how to use a doggy door.  I am in search of a quiet forever home with a soft dog bed and people who like down time with me on the couch!

Adoption Fee:  $150.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going overstate lines (required by law).

Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $145 non refundable fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Transportation Help

If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
