My name is Pepper! I’m a very tiny little girl with a huge heart. I love to cuddle and snuggle any chance I get. My go to cuddle partner is my foster mom, but when she is busy I settle for one of my foster friends. I enjoy going outside and smelling the roses, or whatever really cool smells I can find! My foster friends are made up of a few funny looking pit bulls, a mastiff, some dachshunds and a bunch of cats. I enjoy them all and have learned that the more friends there are the more fun I can have! I have bigger eyes than my belly so I’m a little more round than I’m supposed to be but I’m working on it (plus my foster mom says I’m pretty darn cute the way I am!). My previous owners said I was not house trained and that I liked to tinkle on rugs inside but my foster mom’s house has zero rugs or carpet and she takes me outside TONS so I have yet to have an accident in her house. I really love life and all the new exciting things I’m learning about but I sure hope I find my very own forever family that will never give me away again. I don’t know why things didn’t work out with my previous family but I do know anyone who is willing to give me some love will get it back 10 fold. I’m just so thankful to Little Paws for helping me find the most pawsome family I can!
Completing an Adoption Application: http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724 Adoption Fee: $250.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional non-refundable $145 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses. Transportation Help If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
