Hi! I'm Kashi, a very sweet and loving, beautiful 9 year old little girl. I weigh about 11lbs. My former mom gave me to Little Paws rescue because she had a grandchild that was allergic to dogs, and he moved in with her. I had to stay outside a lot in this hot weather, so she decided that finding another loving home would be best for me...so here I am. After two days at my new foster home, I settled in like I had always lived there! I am very adaptable to changes.

Even though I'm 9, I have many years left to live! Don't be fooled by my age because I can move pretty fast if I want to. I love to follow foster mom around everywhere, especially in the kitchen just in case she needs help picking up crumbs that drop. I love to take naps, and be a cuddle bug too. I love to eat and always ready for a meal.

I’m housebroken if you take me out regularly. I am also trained to use pee pads if I can't get outside when I need to go. Foster mom said I am the best behaved dog that she has ever fostered! Actually, I’m a perfect little girl I am very quiet, and rarely bark at anything.
I love sleeping in the big bed, but I am sleeping on the couch at foster mom's house because my foster brother won't let me sleep in the big bed. I sleep all night without making a sound...I am sooo good! I am a very happy girl and love lots of attention.

I don't have an aggressive bone in my little body and I'm always friendly to strangers. I like kids and dogs, even though I don't pay much attention to them.

If you want a great companion, Kashi is a perfect little girl!

*** On a recent vet visit Kashi was found to have some indicators of possible kidney disease but is doing great and no treatment needed at this time other than a low protein diet.
