My name is Shelly but my foster mom calls me Shelly Belly because as soon as I meet someone new I show them my belly for rubs! I LOVE all people! I mean really, people are the coolest thing since sliced bread or dog parks! I love to play with toys and to cuddle on the couch. I have the best tail wag and happy dance. I make everyone smile when they see me with my side to side happy hops. I get along with everyone! Dogs of all sizes are fun to me and I even enjoy feline company. I haven’t found a human yet who isn’t great at giving belly rubs so I’m a pretty big fan of those funny 2 legged dog wannabes. I would rather not be alone but I don’t throw fits or get vocal about it, I just give the saddest eyes. I need a family who will love  me and keep me forever. I am the kind of girl who has a ton of love to give and all I want in return is a family who will make me feel as special as I deserve!

Completing an Adoption Application:   http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724 Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional non-refundable $145 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.    Transportation Help If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
