Jenna is an adorable, gentle, fawn, and cream female dachshund. She is about 7 months old. She is a happy girl always delighted to be petted and loved on. She loves to sit on your lap and give lots of kisses while you stroke her super soft fur. Her coloring is fawn and cream but her markings are a mix of freckles/brindle/dapple. One of the most beautiful things about her is her lovely dark dark eyes. She is so happy to sit near you on a dog bed while you are busy and watch what you are doing but when you sit down she will be right next to you to keep you company.

She is learning house training but is very reliable with pee pads. She needs some work walking on a leash but Jenna loves to please her people and is a quick learner. She needs to be introduced to new dogs slowly but definitely loves having doggie friends.

Jenna is heartworm negative, currently up-to-date on heart-worm meds, fully vaccinated, flea treated and spayed. Jenna and Borris are siblings.

Adoption Fee:  $350.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $145 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Transportation Help

If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
