Hello! My name is Marley. I am two and half years old and weigh about 12 pounds.

I get along with all adults and dogs, but I am not a fan of children or cats.  I am therefore in search of a forever family without young children and without a cat.

I love going for walks and exploring outside in nature, but I am also happy being carried around or snuggling up with my foster mom. In my foster home I sleep in a crate at night, but I really would love big bed privileges.  I am crate trained, I am a pretty good car traveler, and my house training is coming along if you keep me on a schedule.  One important thing to know about me is that I can jump really high and I am pretty rambunctious if left alone without supervision.  In other words I am not a mellow fellow and I need a forever family willing to teach me right and wrong.

If you’re looking for a high-spirited pup and have the time to train me I maybe perfect for you.

To learn more about me please contact my foster mom Ashley (ash041815@gmail.com).

To complete an application for adoption: http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724

Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate (for each dog) if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.   Transportation Help  If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
