Hi!  My name is Lucky.  I am a black and tan dachshund.  My brother Mario is also black and tan, but he is dappled.  We are brothers, have been together our whole life and are best buddies.  Mario and I are in search of a forever family after our family moved.  We absolutely love everyone (men, women and children) and although we get alone well with of our 4-legged foster brothers and sisters we much prefer being with our foster mom or dad.  We are both crate-trained and house trained.  At nighttime we sleep together in a big wire crate in our foster mom and dad’s bedroom.  Because we are bonded and best buddies we are looking for a home together.

The Adoption fee for Mario & Lucky is $400 (for both dogs). If they are adopted over the Maryland state line there will be a $45.00 charge (for each dog) for a health certificate (required by law).  If they are adopted in New England there is an additional $135 fee (for each dog) to help cover the transport of each dog to New England.

If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
