Hi! I am Pablo. I am supposed to be a dachshund/chihuahua mix, but I am definitely more Chihuahua. Just call me a dachshund wannabe. In the photo, please notice my cool ears!
I am an active youngun’, so please don’t expect me to be a couch potato for a few years. Nevertheless, I am loving and affectionate. I love to be picked up and cuddled.
My housetraining is decent as long as you keep an eye on me and get me outside often. I can be left alone in a room for an hour or two, but any longer and I need to be in a crate (I am crate-trained) or in a room that can be easily cleaned up.
I can be in a multi-dog household, but it may take a few days to get to know and be comfortable with the other dogs—especially if any of the others are considerably bigger than me. This is one situation in which I will bark a lot. This is one area in which I could benefit from a basic obedience class
I am used to eating in my crate and will run to the crate when I see my food bowl.
My biggest pet peeve is getting my toenails trimmed. Don’t look for my cooperation, but it helps if someone feeds me treats constantly to distract me.
Please adopt me with my best buddy Princess who is a real dachshund
For additional information please contact my foster mom Lorrie (dachsielover@verizon.net)

Transportation Help
If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
