Sir is a sweet 5 year old Dachshund Mix who came to us from a loving home. Sadly, his family ran into some serious health issues and could no longer keep him. Sir is one of the sweetest and silliest pups! He is a total love machine. He has never met a stranger and he loves nothing more than snuggling and getting belly rubs. But, he also loves going for rides in the car and for walks. He is working on his potty training and does great when the weather is nice. He’s not a big fan of going out in the cold or rain - but then again who is? He gets along great with our small dog but seems afraid of larger dogs. We were also told that he had a human sister who was about 3 years old so we think he is good with children too. We are unsure about cats. Sir loves to sleep in the big bed with his people but will sleep in a crate if that is what you prefer. He is a true comfort hound and will give you all the love and kisses you could ever wish for.

Completing an Adoption Application:   http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724 Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional non-refundable $145 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.    Transportation Help If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
