My name is Fred and I am a 4 month old hound mix with the most beautiful red maghogany colored coat. My brothers and I are known as the Harry Potter puppies. No one knows who our mother or father are, but I am a hound mix and definitely bigger than most dachshunds. It looks like I will grow 25 to 30 pounds.  There are no guarantees though. I might be smaller or a bit larger. I have lots of puppy energy.  I am crate trained and I am working on my house training. I am new to Little Paws Dachshund Rescue. The humans are just getting to know me. Once we get to know one another, my foster mom will update my bio. In the meantime, if you think that I may be the puppy for you, please submit an application form.

For additional information please contact my foster mom Sue (sajd2@verizon.net)

Adoption Fee:  $350.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Transportation Help

If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
