My name is Greta and I’m a four year old, very easy going dachshund.   My sister Sophia and I are looking for our forever home together.  I am a little shy when I first meet people, but I do eventually come out of my shell and am super loving and fun.  I’m a very sweet girl and I don’t bark that much, my sister speaks mostly for me.   My foster mom is so in love with me, we cuddle and snooze together. I am always on my best behavior.    I am fully house trained and love to be outside – I will even figure out how to open the door if you aren’t quick enough!!!!   I love to nap and sleep with my sister in the crate and we are very quiet during our sleep times.    We love each other and keep ourselves busy together.  Please consider us for your home, we are lots of fun and will keep you smiling and laughing.

Note: Greta and Sophia will not be transported and must be adopted within 100 miles of the metropolitan Boston area.

Adoption Fee:  $450.00 (for both Greta and Sophia) + $45.00 for a health certificate (for each dog) if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a port ion of these expenses.
