Hi, my name is Louie and I am a handsome 10 year old, black and tan smooth dachshund, if I do say so myself! I don't really know why my former family decided they had to give me up but I suspect that couldn't take care of me. The nice folks at Little Paws found out that I needed a dental and took care of that and when they found out that I should eat a special prescription dog food to help my kidneys stay healthy they didn't hesitate to make sure that I got the right dog food. I am totally house trained, love sniffing around a backyard and enjoy going for walks. I am like so many seniors and just over looked because I am not a youngster.

The adoption fee for Louie is $150. If Louie is adopted over a state line there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law). All dogs adopted in New England are charged an additional $150 to cover regulatory requirements.
Transportation Help
If you see a fur baby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to transport the dog to you.
