Hello, My name is Kenny and I am approximately 11 ½ years old, but don’t be fooled by my frosty face I am a very happy, spunky and playful 11 lbs housebroken and well behaved mini dachshund.

My foster mom says I am going to make a great companion dog for someone who is looking for a little one to love and cuddle with and enjoy our golden retirement years together.  I love to go for walks, chase my squeaky tennis ball (my favorite activity) and go for car rides.

I can be a little nervous and vocal meeting you for the first time, but once I sit on your lap, you will instantly become my new best friend.

I am looking for a home preferably with no young children, but I’m ok with older dogs like myself.  While I may be an older gentleman, I have the spunk of a 9-year-old and so much love to offer the right person.

Won’t you please call my foster mom and she can give you more details about how wonderfully sweet, fun and cuddly I am.

For additional information please contact my foster mom Debbie (dafmdf@yahoo.com)

Adoption Fee:  $150.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Transportation Help

If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
