Hi! My name is Pearl and I am a very sweet young (1.5 yrs old) year old dachshund looking for a family to call my own. I was in a place were my people had 10 dogs inside and 10 dogs outside. I was on the inside with 9 other dachshunds. They surrendered us all and now we are in nice and cozy foster homes!

My foster family tells everyone that I am priceless, adorable and sweet. More than anything, I love food and attention. I always want to sit on someone’s lap and I snuggle close to my foster sister at night in her bed.

I am fully potty trained and come when you call my name loud enough so I can hear you. I don’t like to be in a crate and or blocked off from my people. I am very calm if you pick me up and stroke me while I’m on your lap. I also have a nice strong bark so I’m not a good apartment dog, but I am very easily calmed down.

For additional information please contact my foster mom Helen (helen.barold@gmail.com)

Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 non refundable fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Transportation Help

If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
