(NOTE: SARAH MUST BE AN ONLY DOG. NO EXCEPTIONS!).
Hi my name is Sarah!
I am a 4-year-old miniature dachshund weighing about 10 lbs. I have been told I have a beautiful deep red/chocolate soft coat of fur, but all I know is I LOVE being with my favorite humans and spending time in my foster home's backyard. I will require a safe and very secure fenced-in yard because I am an expert hunter and sometimes my nose could make me explore too far and get lost. I am also super-fast!!!
I was diagnosed with IMHA, but I am currently in remission and on no medications.
I am a very happy healthy girl, but that’s because of Little Paws and my wonderful foster family.
I am in search of a forever family where I can be queen of my household. In other words, I want and need to be the only dog in my forever home because I am not a fan of other dogs. Remember I mentioned my expert hunting skills? A home with small animals such as birds, hamsters, etc. would probably not be good idea for me.
Did I tell you how much I love to burrow under blankets and cuddle in my foster family's laps? I sleep like a good girl in my own bed (with lots of blankets of course) at night, but I would gladly snuggle up in the big human bed if allowed! I would love a family who is home more than away. I stay in a crate when my foster family leaves that makes me sad.
To learn more about me or if you have any questions you can email my foster mom Meredith at meredith09@hotmail.com

Transportation Help
If you see a fur baby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to transport the dog to you.
