I’m Daisy and I am bonded with my brother Buddy.  I am a typical dachshund and love cuddles, attention and being around my human. I like to be stroked, and I love to hear my name being said. I like being around other dogs.  I respond well to commands and tone of voice.  I am an older girl, I’m housetrained, and I enjoy going outside. At night, I sleep in a dog bed with Buddy. I do not move or snore the whole night. During the day when my foster mom goes to work, I stay in my crate with Buddy. I sleep in my crate with Buddy too. I am fine children, but need them to be calm and respectful as I am little and older. I’m okay going up and down the 4 porch steps and the ramp at my foster home, but I don’t go up and down stairs like Buddy does.  I like going for walks, but at my speed, as my legs are short. I am a happy girl with a friendly personality, who loves belly rubs. I love being with my brother Buddy.

If you are interested in knowing more about Buddy & Daisy please contact their foster mom Shivaun (shivaunleonard@gmail.com).

Transportation Help

If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
