My name is Maltilda! Before I was rescued I had an exciting life living on the mean streets and in the tent city of Baltimore city. When my owner was unable to care for me anymore and with winter approaching he realized that he needed to find me a home as the shelters do not allow dogs inside the homeless shelters. My foster mom found me in a junk yard where a nice man was trying to find me a safe home. I needed some medical procedures before I could be adopted, but I’m happy and healthy now. My foster mom says I’m the smartest pups she’s ever known. I learn commands quickly, love my crate, but I love sleeping in the big bed more though. I love kids but I’m a bit bossy and don’t like to share food with other pups so I’d like to be the only pup. I am in search of a forever family in the Washington, DC/Baltimore area. If you would like more information about me please contact my foster mom Teri at TeriBmore@gmail.com
The adoption fee for Matilda is $250. If she is adopted over the Maryland state line there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law).
If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation.
