The meaning of the name Ava is Life.
And when it comes to life I am full of it. I love everyone and love dogs of all sizes, but play best with dogs around 30 lbs. I am a party waiting to happen. I love to go for walks, get lots of attention and sleep soundly in my humans bed. I don't take up much room at all and surprisingly I'm not a burrower.
I can zip up and down on the stairs and love running around the fenced in backyard chasing squirrels and chipmunks and birds. Boy do they scatter when I show up. So if you have critters don't worry, I'm on the job.
I do have a couple requests please. I need to have another dog in the house that will play with me and keep me company while you are gone but please don't leave me alone too much. I'm not a fan of that.

The adoption fee for Ava is $300. If adopted over a state line there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law) and if adopted in New England there is an additional $150 to cover regulatory requirements.
Transportation Help If you see a fur baby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to transport the dog to you.
