Ellie is the sweetest, cuddly little girl. She is always happy to see her people and loves to give kisses. She has been wonderful with the other dogs she has been with, big and small, young and old from the moment she walked in the door. She's been great with her 3 year old human foster brother, too. He loves to pet her and says "Ellie loves me." She recently had to have most of her teeth pulled, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying her food like a typical dachshund. Just add a little water to her dry kibble and she`s fine. She walks with a slight limp due to one of her knee caps being very loose, but this does not slow her down or seem to cause any pain. She would be a good fit with other dogs or as an on!y dog with someone who could give her the attention she enjoys so much. A quiet girl, most of the time, unless she's feeling lonely when she does make an adorable howl.
