Hi, My name is Beau. I am a 5 year old doxie mix. I am about 11 lbs with long legs! I had a bit of a rough life before I came to Little Paws. I was brought into a vet's office to be euthanized because my back legs weren't working very well. Luckily, the vet chose to spare my life and convince my old owners to sign me over to the vet. The vet contacted Little Paws and well here I am! Doxies have back issues, you know? So it wasn't that big of a deal! At least that is what my foster mom said. She got me and said "We are going to fix you right up" and they did!! I went to something called PT (physical therapy). I had fun running on the underwater treadmill and got lots of peanut butter there when I let them put something called a laser on my back! Oh and did I tell you how much everyone loved me there?!! Here is the best part. I am now the bestest runner in the house. I outrun all the other doxies! Lightening Beau here!!

I live with my foster Mom and Dad, a few other doxies and 2 kitties. My foster mom says I have the sweetest face and she calls me "my littlest angel" even though I like to chase the kitties sometimes but I won't hurt them. I like to play with my foster siblings too. I would like a home with another dog that I can play with. I love humans so much! I will be your cuddle buddy and guess what comes with that? The BIG BED!! Sleeping in that with you is a MUST!!!! I would also like a home with my people home more than not.

I also like to be outside in the yard with you. I need a fenced in yard because I can be a bit of a runner and I like to chase outside wildlife. I love to go on walks and I do really well on my leash! And here is a BIGGIe - I am 100 percent house trained!!! Just pay attention to me when I stand at the door and take me out regularly (even in the rain - I want to go outside! - no pee pads for me!) and you will never have a mess to clean!!
