Hi! My name is Huck and I am a 2-year-old doxie mix that weighs about 18 lbs. My foster mom says that I am a very intelligent and a very well behaved pup. My favorite activities include: playing with toys, eating treats, running around the yard chasing birds, and snuggling with my foster family. I NEED a securely fenced in back yard, with no gaps, as I am a good escape artist. I am house trained and know lots of commands, and even pee outside when told! My excitement and playfulness is not for everyone, but I would love to find a family who can appreciate my happy energy. My ideal owners would take me for lots of walks to the dog park and snuggle with me on the couch when I’m all tuckered out. I love to play with the other dogs in my foster home and I would love to have a dog buddy who is just as playful as I am! When my foster family is not home I am very well behaved and occupy myself with a Kong full of frozen peanut butter. When I’m finished with that I snooze until they come home and I am very excited to greet them! I am a sweet, affectionate dog, and I have so much love to give! Please contact my foster mom Wendy at wendy@rothschell.com if you would like more information about me.
The adoption fee for Huck is $325. If Huck is adopted over a state line there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law). All dogs adopted in New England are charged an additional $150 to cover regulatory requirements.
Transportation Help
If you see a fur baby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to transport the dog to you.
