I’m Daffodil, and I’m looking for a family that will love me furever. I’m a dachshund mix puppy. My fur is a tan color. But, I like to say I’m blonde because blondes definitely have more fun, especially puppy blondes. My siblings and I were born on October 21, 2019. Mom was already living in a foster home. So, we have been lucky enough to have only known warmth, love, and full bellies.

I’m a little love bug. While my brothers and sisters are playing, I like to take a little time out to sit quietly with my foster mom. After a few minutes, I’m ready to rejoin the crowd.  I love to play rough and tumble games and chase my siblings. We play and play until we are so tired that we can hardly keep our eyes open. After a nap and a bite to eat, we are ready to play again. I am not house trained. My furever family and I will have to work on that together. I’d love to go to puppy training classes, and I know that I’d have a great time meeting new puppy friends.

My spay is scheduled for February 24, 2020. A few days after that, I will be ready to be taken home. I will be up-to-date on immunizations, including rabies. I will also be microchipped.

If you want more information about me, please contact my foster mom at puppyfoster2019@gmail.com

The adoption fee for Daffodil is $350. If Daffodil is adopted over a state line there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law).

Transportation Help

If you see a fur baby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to transport the dog to you.
