ZACK MUST GO TO A HOME WITH A FENCED IN YARD AND A HOME WITH NO CATS NEEDS TO BE AN ONLY DOG.
I am Zack. I arrived in a Little Paws Dachshund Rescue foster home after a harrowing experience in a shelter where I was scared out of my mind. So it took me a few days to restore my faith in you humans.
I have readjusted to being a loving companion. I look and act younger than my age, so I am a vivacious guy. My desires are simple: a fenced yard to chase squirrels and birds and rabbits and grass to roll in or just to sit and soak up some rays, some hard rubber toys to chew on or cuddle with and YOU and a cozy crate when I can't be with you. In return, I offer you my faithful companionship, my love, and my soft fur for petting. Zack has been put on a prescription diet which he will need to be on for the remainder of his life.
I will do best as an "only" dog with an experienced owner and no trips to dog parks.
I can't wait to meet you and be in my fur-ever home.

You can find the adoption application at: http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724
Zak's Adoption fee is $275. If he is adopted over a state line there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law). All dogs adopted in New England are charged an additional $150 to cover regulatory requirements. Transportation Help: If you see a fur baby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to transport the dog to you.
