Hello, my name is Frannie, and I am a very lucky dachshund to have found Little Paws rescue when I did. My previous owner neglected my vet care and let me get so fat I couldn't breathe. I am now svelte (very sweet) 10 year old, and my health is as good as possible. I currently weigh 22 bs because I lost 10 whole lbs while in foster care. I'm now a spokesdog for "The Green Bean Diet" Too bad it's not a paying gig ;)
What would make my heart soaris a new fur-ever home with a fenced yard to sniff around in and bask in the sunshine. I love being brushed, and I enjoy belly rubs.
I came into rescue with a bonded partner, Freckles, but I lost him to something called Cancer; whatever that is, it makes me sad. I'm hoping to find my person and heal my heart..could you be the one?
I am sociable with all people and other dogs.
If you have room in your home and heart for me and would like additional information about me, please contact my foster mom Lorrie at dachsielover@verizon.net
You can find the adoption application at: http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724
The adoption fee for me is $150. If I am adopted over a state line, there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law). The Adoption Fee for Frannie is $150.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). TRANSPORTATION HELP! If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
