Simi is a very pretty 6 year old red girl. She is small at around 8-9 pounds. Simi craves attention and affection and likes nothing more that to me held and petted all day. Simi will do best with someone who is home all day and as an only dog as she is super jealous of other dogs getting human attention, and she has some separation anxiety. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Like most dachshunds she will bark to alert you when someone is approaching. We have not had her around children but she should be ok with older respectful children who want to pet her.
