*PLEASE NOTE DOROTHY NEEDS AN ADULT ONLY HOME NO CHILDREN, AND SHE NEEDS TO BE THE ONLY PET/DOG AND SHE WILL DO BEST WITH SOMEONE WHO WORKS FROM OR IS RETIRED *
Dorothy is an affectionate, playful, happy girl. She loves to watch musicals and was named after Dorothy in Wizard of Oz. She loves to snuggle with blankets and enjoys bully sticks and bones.
She is a seven-year-old dachshund and pug mix, Dorothy is a pugshund! She loves being with “her” people; she will be a bit shy at first, but once she learns she can trust you, she will open up, and be a love bug! Her favorite things are snuggling, going on walks, kisses on her cheeks, and getting all the attention and love she deserves; Dorothy is a little princess.
At home, she spends a good time of her day snoozing next to her foster dad in the home office; he says she is a great co-worker!
Dorothy is house trained (knows to use pee pads if needed) she doesn't chew on things and is good roaming free if left alone; she doesn’t love her crate, but she uses it sometimes.
She likes people in general, but a family of adults only would be best since she has some sensitive areas she can get snappy. Dorothy has some sensitive areas where you need to approach softly, like her ears.
Dorothy loves car rides, walks nicely on a leash, and she will chase a squirrel if she sees one!
She would do best in a home where she is the only pet in the house since she doesn’t like other pets much.
