Zoey is a 12-year-old mini dachshund she is housetrained. She came to the Little Paws Family when her owner passed away; this is not the first time this has happened to Zoey. Unfortunately, she has been in several homes now. This instability has caused her to guard her food and her human. She is desperate to hold on to some type of consistency.

Zoey is in good health and will bond with her human. Zoey loves to nap while you watch TV and enjoys a nice, easy-going walk. She should be adopted to a home without small children as she prefers a quiet environment. A single person who works from home or is retired would be ideal for Zoey as she has some separation anxiety.

Zoey has been through a lot and would do best with a very patient, low key adopter.

The Adoption fee for Zoey is $150. If she is  adopted over a state line there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law).Transportation Help: If you see a fur baby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to transport the dog to you.
