Hello There, I'm Libby! I am 16 years old. But don't let that deter you. I may be older, but I am plenty young at heart. I'm a sweet, easygoing gal. I enjoy napping in my bed. I Love to Netflix and chill (hopefully with a snack). I need someone who will stay committed to keeping my weight healthy, although I Looove to eat. I recently lost several lb's and need to stay healthy & fit. I've been doing great on the "Green Bean Diet" and love healthy snacks like a bit of yogurt. I don't like stairs; I weigh approximately 18 lbs. and will need to be carried up and down all steps. I'm pretty quiet unless you're making my food or we are getting ready to go outside; I genuinely look forward to those things.
As you can see from my pictures, my eyesight is not so good. I have minimal vision in both eyes. However, I can still see objects and figures. But as a result, I need eye drops administered in both eyes 3-5 times a day. Because I don't see very well, I get easily nervous when placed in a new environment. So, ideally, I would be an excellent match for someone who is retired or works from home and is just looking to have another heartbeat around. When we are outside, I can follow you around as long as you call my name. I recently lost some weight, and I feel fantastic! I like to run now when I come inside from going to the bathroom. I am fine around other dogs, but I wouldn't be well suited for a young puppy or super playful, energetic dog. Because of my eyesight, it takes me a bit longer to warm up to new people. So, it will need a patient adopter who is willing to be patient with me and allow me to learn to trust them and my surroundings. Also, I need someone who will keep an eye on me in the yard since I can't be left alone outside.
