Kelso is a young “Doxinese”. This Professional Lap Dog is sweet and just wants human attention. He loves belly rubs, and is well mannered. Leash trained, Kelso is potty trained when kept on a schedule. He doesn’t bark much and gets along with other dogs, although he prefers to be by himself. He is crate trained and rides well in the car. 

Kelso was found with another dog in a crate at a dumpster. Because he was abused, we believe it would be best for him to be in a home without small children. Kelso is frightened by sudden movements such as lifting your hands quickly. 

He will need to be with a patient, understanding adopter that will give him time to adjust to a stable environment.

The adoption fee for Kelso is $325.00.  If he is adopted over state lines, there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law).   Transportation Help: If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation.
