Hi! I’m Pepper. I am a 13 years young mini dachshund with a big heart packed into a tiny body. I loved my previous owner my whole life but he passed away and I ended up at a scary shelter. Now that I am safely in a foster home, I’m looking to spend my golden years with a calm family to love. I am low maintenance, housebroken, friendly and love a calm comfy spot to take a nap. I have a gentle and quiet disposition and would be a perfect companion for a retiree or someone who works from home. I am a little shy when meeting new people and new doggie friends, but I warm up and get along with everyone. The vet says I am in great health for an older lady, but I do have a dry eye that requires daily ointment. That doesn’t bother me at all and my foster mom says I am so good when she puts it on!
