If you are looking for a snuggle buddy, then Ginger is your girl. She is sweet, smart, and an immensely loveable 10 year old senior. Ginger came into rescue carrying some extra weight, but with diet and exercise she is slimming down.  She walks well on a leash and as long as she is taken for walks regularly she doesn't need a fenced in yard. She only barks briefly when left alone, travels well in a car, and is house broken and will use potty pads during yucky weather.

Ginger does take meds daily for allergies which costs about$55/month.

Ginger's wish list includes a loving home with someone who is retired or home more often than not to adore her. She can be a bit whiney when she thinks she is not getting enough snuggles. She loves blankets and lean treats. She is pretty much a couch potato. She ignores cats and toddlers, but would probably like another pup for company.

If you would like to adopt Ginger please complete an adoption application at http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724.  The adoption fee for each boy is $200.00.  If she is adopted over a state line there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law).  

Transportation Help: If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation.
