If you are looking for a devoted companion, then Bertha (BeBee) is your girl. She is sweet, smart, and an immensely loveable 12-year-old senior. BeBee came into rescue carrying some extra weight, but with diet and exercise she is slimming down.  Her adopter would need to continue this to insure BeBee reaches a healthy weight.  BeBee prefers not to share her squeaky toys and to eat her food undisturbed.  She's a gentle girl but will give a warning when protecting her stuff.

BeBee walks well on a leash and enjoys being outside in the sun.  She will potty outside if taken on regular walks. If not, she will use potty pads in the house. She only barks briefly when the doorbell rings or when she hears an unfamiliar noise.  BeBee enjoys a car ride and likes to look out the window.

BeBee's wish list includes a loving home with someone who is retired or home more often than not to adore her.  She loves squeaky toys and low-cal treats.

If you would like to adopt BeBee please complete an adoption application at http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724.  The adoption fee for BeBee is $200.00.  If she is adopted over a state line, there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law).  

Transportation Help: If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation.
