Please Note:  Eli and Phoebe are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.  Eli and Phoebe will not be placed in a home with young children.

Say ‘hello’ to this sweet brother and sister, Eli and Phoebe! At 2 years old, these two have so much love to give!  Phoebe is a beauty with her one blue and one brown eyes and distinctive black and white coloring.  Both dogs absolutely love the backyard!  Phoebe is the more adventurous of the pair showing her brother how to chase the neighborhood squirrels.  Both of them know their names and come quickly when called.  They ask to go out when they need to go and have quickly learned to use the ramps to get on the big bed or sofa.

They are definitely not used to wearing harnesses and collars and need to be calmed and reassured while getting ‘dressed’.  Eli is the better leash-walker, staying right by his person’s side while Phoebe is a bit more distracted.  Meeting new dogs has been no problem and they have been friendly interacting with the family dogs.   

Phoebe and Eli have paid no attention to the neighborhood children but because they love attention, they should probably be limited to older children and only one or two other family dogs.  We would love to see them with a fenced yard and someone that’s home a lot. They need a forever family that will never deprive them of love and attention and in return that family will be given an endless supply of love and loyalty from these sweethearts.

The adoption fee for Phoebe and Eli is $ 650.   If they are adopted over a state line there will be a $45.00 charge each for a health certificate (required by law).  Transportation Help: If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation.
