Liam is a super cute 1.5-year-old dachshund/chihuahua mix with a short black and tan coat. He weighs about 15 pounds. Liam is house trained if he is taken out regularly and will use pee pads if he needs to. Having a home in which at least one person is home most of the time would be best for Liam. He would be fine living in any type of home including one with shared walls as Liam is generally quiet. He has been a perfect gentleman in his foster ’s home and apartment. Liam is afraid to go into a crate and does not do well in one, so he is not able to go into a home where he will be crated.
Liam enjoys spending time outside. He would love to have a securely fenced yard to hang out in and play. However, as long as Liam is walked several times a day, he does not need a yard. Liam enjoys going for walks around his neighborhood on his leash. He does well on car trips. He’s always happy to be out and about with his human. He also rides well in the car.
Liam likes humans and does well with strangers that enter his home or that he meets on walks. We don’t know if he likes being around children but has been great with everyone he meets. He likes other dogs large or small, young or old and gets along well with his foster ’s dog. When we asked his foster parents what they like most about Liam, they said that Liam is very sweet, playful, and friendly. He is a joy to have around and will quietly follow you everywhere, he is a love bug.
Liam is currently living in Orlando, FL with his foster parents. For additional information, please contact foster mom Dana at dana@danahatton.com .
