Daisy is a teeny weeny sweetie. She’s 8 years old and just 9 lbs, and came to us with her daughter, Daphne, after her owner unfortunately needed full time nursing care. She’s medium energy and loves to run and play, then settle down and snuggle for a while, so she’s looking for a new family to match her balanced pace.
Environment & Training
Daisy is a very good girl; she is house and crate trained, walks very well, and travels nicely in the car. While she is crate trained up to 4 hours at a time, when left alone she takes a little bit to settle down so shared walls wouldn’t be the best idea. She would love a yard to scamper and explore in—in her foster home she enjoys chasing chickens and squirrels along the fence line.
People & Pets
Daisy gets along well with dogs her own size, but does not like bigger dogs. Since she’s an older lady she can get annoyed at young male dogs. With people she has a lot of love to give. She’s timid with new people but warms up quickly to adults and older children. She really loves to snuggle and is a very sweet companion.
Health
Daisy only has a few teeth so a soft diet is necessary. Her vet found some crystals in her urinary system so she eats Hills Science C/D diet to help treat those. She loves it and is fed meals and treats in her crate.
Location
Daisy is currently living in Moncks Corner, SC with her foster mom Jan. For additional information, please contact her at jchicka@gmail.com. If you would like to adopt Daisy, please complete an adoption application form by clicking the adopt button. The adoption fee for Daisy is $275.00.
