Daphne is just a perfect little pup. At 5 months she’s weighing in at 7lbs. She’s a loving, fun little girl whose previous owner unfortunately needed advanced medical care. This beautiful, playful puppy is still young and full of energy, looking for a new family to love on for life.

Environment & Training

At her tiny 5 months old, Daphne is already mostly house trained. She has been learning well in her foster home and is about 80% there. She’s been working on her crate training and will go to her crate or pen for treats or meals. Since she’s still young she can’t be left alone for longer than about 3 hours, and will need someone home a lot at first. She will be vocal for the first 30-40 mins when left alone, so shared walls are a no go. 
 

Daphne still needs to work on her leash walking etiquette, she loves to run and has a lot of energy so tries to go in every direction. She would love to run around in a fenced yard and since she isn’t yet leashed trained a fence is a requirement.

People & Pets

Daphne has love for everyone—once she’s said hi. She is vocal and excitable when introduced to new dogs, and does great with small dogs, but big dogs are not her favorite. Her youthful exuberance can still be a little annoying to older dogs. She’s untested with children, but with grown-ups she’s excited. Once she is done singing the song of her people (barking) she’s affectionate and playful.
