Clover is a 13lb, six-year-old, short hair piebald Dachshund looking for someone who will give her all the attention in the world. Clover is a little snuggle bug, and she will be your shadow. Although she may be very shy at first, once she opens up to you she will show you unlimited love. The only things she loves as much as snuggles are her squeaky toys.

Environment

Clover is crate trained and she does well when left home in her crate. She is also house trained, but being a little pup she needs frequent potty breaks. She loves her people, and to roam around the house so it would be nice to have someone home a lot.

People & Pets

Clover was slowly introduced to other dogs in the foster home through a gate and when they met snoot to snoot they did great! She has no food aggression, but will politely stand her ground with the other dogs. Clover can be vocal and tentative when new people arrive, but once she gets to know them she’s great with everyone, including respectful children.

Training

Clover is great on a walk, but as she’s still getting confident with new people she barks at strangers while leash walking. She doesn’t seem to be a flight risk, but since her foster has an unfenced yard, she has only been walked on leash. Clover does pay attention to small birds and squirrels if they land in the yard, but she hasn’t tried to chase or bark.

Location

Clover is being fostered in Danielson, CT. Please email miguel@mantunes.com with any questions. To apply to let her snuggle her way into your heart, click the Adopt button . The adoption fee for Clover is $275.
