Mako Bio
Mako is a 20lb, long-haired dachshund who is just two years old. Mako is looking for a new home as his previous owners had to relocate unexpectedly. He’s a playful, fun little guy who is still an adaptable puppy ready to find a new home.
Environment
Mako is still working on his house training but he is already crate trained. So far he doesn’t really understand the backyard, doesn’t run around very much and probably would be ok without a fenced yard. Mako walks well on the leash, and equally loves to snuggle on the sofa. A less active family would be just fine for this little cuddle buddy, and living in a home with shared walls would be ok as he’s not a chatty guy.
Pets & People
Mako has done well with his foster’s chiweenie, they’re very playful and occasionally scrappy but overall pretty good. Mako does tend to get a little territorial with his food so if there are other dogs in his new home he may need some work on that or to be fed separately.
With people, Mako has done well. He adores attention and is just a cutie pie. He’s untested with children as yet but gentle and calm when he needs to be.
