Pooh is a sweet and loving two-year-old boy who weighs 10 lbs. He has had a difficult start in life, as he was previously starved. He’s looking for a real home with a family who can give him love, patience, and a little training. 

Environment

Pooh is not house-trained as he was neglected and hasn’t really had any type of training. He is happy in a crate though, and fine when left to his own devices. He has shown some guarding around food so he eats in his crate to ensure the other dogs don’t try to ‘help’ him finish. Pooh is self-sufficient when he needs to be and doesn’t bark much so shared walls are fine. He would love his new home to have a fenced yard as he does love to roam. 

Pets & People

Pooh is a sociable, playful little guy! He loves other dogs and when new people arrive, he’s friendly. He is easily startled and can be anxious. For these reasons we advise caution when handling him, and won’t place him with children since they are a little unpredictable for a pup like Pooh. If you’re calm and gentle, and let him go at his own pace, he will show he has endless love and laughter to give.
