Lady Bio

Lady is a sweet, sun-loving, senior chiweenie. She’s 11 years old, 12 lbs, and we count ourselves lucky she landed with us while she looks for her new home. One of the most snuggly, relaxed little lovebugs you’ll ever meet, Lady is looking to ideally stay in the south with some people who won’t leave alone much, since she loves the warm and the company. 

Environment

Lady is house trained—yay! And she doesn’t even need a fenced yard. This little lady is apartment friendly and loves to go for a walk. She doesn’t bark much except to say hi when someone comes to her door, so shared walls are totally fine. We’d say she’s a medium activity dog because although she’s a senior she does love kids and does well with a little energy. Lady is used to having people working from home and we’d love her to have that continue so that she has the attention and company she craves. 

Pets & People

Lady can be a little protective of her food and her bed, but she otherwise gets on well with other dogs. She’s not a fan of being surprised, so calm and careful introductions are necessary. Once that’s done, she enjoys their company. She’s great on walks and loves to meet new people of all shapes and sizes —especially if they’ll play with her toys or play fetch with her!

Location

Lady is available for adoption from Miami, FL and we’d like for her to settle nearby or somewhere equally warm. She’s good in the car so there’s not really a time restriction.
