Morrison a.k.a Moe is a 13 year old piebald long-hair. He came in   with Finnegan a.k.a Finny—a 14 year old short-hair.

His foster mom describes Moe as “a sweet cuddler, who loves food related puzzles, and is loving of dogs/humans.” He has a big personality and will love and adore his human with his whole heart! He will go outside when nature calls, but he prefers staying close to home and enjoying snuggle time in his human's lap. He loves other dogs and likes to curl up with them while napping throughout the day/night. 

Environment

Moe is currently potty training as this was never done in his previous home. He has been very responsive to a schedule and some consistency. He is already at 100% poops outside and 60-70% peeing outside. For now, he wears belly bands in the house and goes out every 3-4 hours. He is crate trained and currently penned when left alone and at night-time. This is partly for potty training, and partly for safety. He free roams when people are home with no issues! 

Moe will need easy access to green space for pottying. Not much of a walker, Moe prefers to do his business and head home, he doesn’t want to go too far and will request to be carried. Whilst he does get excited from time to time, he isn't super vocal, so a home with shared walls would be manageable.

Pets & People

Moe can be a bit overwhelming with new dogs. He so desperately wants to make friends that he will invade their space in his excitement. Given some time he will calm down. He LOVES to cuddle and sleep with other dogs. Moe is looking for a home with either Finny or another doggy buddy who will allow for snuggles.

Much the same with new people, he is curious and friendly and wants to be pet. Often he will bark to say hi, but it’s only from excitement. He is not tested with children.

Health

For now Moe will need to continue to use his belly bands. It is recommended he continues with senior supplements.
