Meet Charlie, a charming 8-year-old dachshund who needs a very specific home in order for him to thrive! At 17 pounds, this sweet boy has had a rough past as a puppy mill breeder and is fearful of many people. Once he and his human have a bond, he'll be your best little snuggle buddy.

Environment

Charlie is looking for a home with only a single female. He needs a calm environment without a lot of coming and going of strangers. He has LOTS of energy for a doxie and loves the outdoors. He will enjoy going on walks and hikes with his person, in addition to lots of play time. Ladies, meet your new BFF!

Pets & People

Charlie is good with other dogs and would love to have a doggo buddy to play with. He is not good with all people. He trusts women more than men and he will bond to only one person in the home. If there are other people in your home, there will be a great need for training. At the moment, Charlie thrives in a single female home.

Location
