Cher is a sweet and curious girl. Rescued from a puppy mill in South Carolina, she is shy around new people and new situations. But she's a fast learner! She walks well on a leash, likes car rides, and is in the process of crate/house training. Taking her out to potty every two hours reduces the possibility of having an accident in the house. Cher needs to gain some weight and she LOVES mealtime and treats. She's happy to sleep on your lap or curl up in her crate with her blanket, and will sleep through the night in her crate. When she's not napping, Cher loves to explore and chew! She does well with other dogs, but prefers those closer to her own size. Large dogs can be intimidating. Cats and squirrels are for chasing, and rolling in the grass is a favorite outdoor pastime.
